I am so excited about our 40 days of prayer and fasting. I believe that God wants to do great things in our ministry and it all hinges on us and our relationship with God.
The word of God tells me in II Chronicles 7:14,
“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
In the first part of that scripture the Lord is asking us to humble ourselves, pray and seek His face, and to turn from our wicked ways. Then He promises us that we will hear from heaven, forgive our sins, and heal our land. For many of us that is a healing for our family and children, for our churches, a financial healing, and a healing for the hurting inner cities of the world.
As we storm the gates of heaven as Victory Outreach family, I would like you to also pray for the Lord to raise up laborers for the harvest field
“Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Matthew 9:37-38
I believe we are in the last days, the Lord is coming soon, and we have been privileged to be on the frontlines of ministry.
Along with this privilege comes responsibility to lead our people into a life of prayer and intercession and a deep communion with God. Please stay in touch this month and let me know what the Lord is doing in your life and in your church.
